Hi there, my name is Mariia, and it's nice to meet you!

I am a Ukrainian immigrant, a hobby painter, and someone who read way too many mystery novels in my teens.

What makes me a strong designer is my ability to connect with people. Whether that's users and stakeholders, or other team members, I make it a point to not just listen, but always try to connect with their story and share a piece of mine.

Because good experiences don’t get made in a vacuum.

Because a product or service is nothing without the community it serves.

As such, I leverage my communication skills, attention to detail, and sense for adaptability to create work that is meaningful and intentional.☀️

The second i in my name isn't actually a typo! As a Ukrainian, the last two letters of my name (ia) are supposed to make the sound that doesn't exist in English. But even despite being small, it has become a huge part of my life (you'd be surprised how much confusion one letter can cause), so it felt only fitting to feature the double "ii" as my logo.
I'm often the main party planner in a group. Have a birthday coming up? Let me get my calendar and let's get to work!
I'm a serial hobbyist. Reading, painting, baking, sewing, roller skating, photogra- it's a long list.
