Hi, My name is Mariia, it's nice to meet you!
My life is filled with awkward interactions that constantly challenge my patience and comfort.
Every day we encounter minor (and not so much) inconveniences that leave us annoyed at best, frustrated and angry at worst. Through my work as a UX researcher, information, and service designer, I want to challenge the narrative that we just simply have to “get used to” daily nuisances, or “get over” ourselves.
By utilizing empathy as the key to meaningful analysis, I aim to create engaging experiences and immersive products for all stakeholders involved.
User-centered approach deeply informs my design practice, as I emphasize the customer’s convenience, further supported by comprehensive research and methodical planning. Thus, allowing me to create products that will attract both the eye and the soul.
I challenge the complexity of issues with complexity of their solutions, dissected into smaller particles of ease and contempt for the users☀️

I'm often the main party planner in a group. Have a birthday coming up? Let me get my calendar and let's get to work!
I'm a serial hobbyist. Reading, painting, baking, sewing, roller skating, photogra- it's a long list.
The second i in my name isn't actually a typo! As a Ukrainian, the last two letters of my name (ia) are supposed to make the sound that does not exist in English.
